Camping by Akhouden Waterfall
I woke up to birds chirping and a river whooshing. I had a nice breakfast with the guys I met. We became friends now, and it was good company.
Later on that morning, the guys from Beni Mellal had to return home from their trip, me and two other guys, Moaad and Jalal, from Casablanca, and two other local guys headed to Akhouden waterfall to camp by the river having a panoramic view over Mountain La Cathédrale.
We hiked for almost one hour to finally reach the top of the waterfall, and set a campfire that kept us warm during the night, we relaxed around it, conversed and laughed, and I crawled to my tent, the hike was tiring, I still remember it.
In the morning, I woke up to wonderful scenery, the sun smoothly revealing the Cathédrale mountain in a live captivating time-lapse kinda, we cooked a Tagine for lunch and cooled our drinks with the freezing Waterfall water, and in the afternoon we left this beautiful and later Imsfrane to head back to Casablanca, I did not only carry my backpack but also good memories and new good acquaintances.
